The scope of this policy. PolyMama (the “Extension”) provides market depth, ladder trading, rewards information, and LP Farm tools on Polymarket pages. This policy explains how the Extension accesses, uses, shares, and stores user data.
Data we access
The Extension processes the information needed to display market and account activity and carry out actions or automated strategies you initiate or configure.
- Authentication
- L2 API credentials read from your signed-in Polymarket page. These are used temporarily to authenticate orders, cancellations, account requests, and private order and fill subscriptions.
- Account & trading
- Wallet addresses, balances, positions, orders, fills, rewards, and related market data used to display account state and reconcile trading activity.
- Page context
- The current Polymarket page, market identifiers, order books, reward configurations, and trading or strategy parameters you enter in the Extension.
- Local settings & records
- Interface preferences, strategy configurations, engine state, position ledgers, and operational logs stored in your browser.
How we use it
Data is used to retrieve live market information, show account state, carry out your trading actions or enabled automated strategies, maintain operational state, recover from errors, and reconcile activity locally.
We do not sell user data or use it for advertising, profiling, or unrelated analytics. Data use is limited to the Extension's disclosed functionality.
PolyMama's use of information received through Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where it goes
The Extension communicates directly with Polymarket services to retrieve data, authenticate requests, and submit the actions you initiate or configure.
Services used by the Extension include:
- polymarket.com
- www.polymarket.com
- clob.polymarket.com
- data-api.polymarket.com
- gamma-api.polymarket.com
- ws-subscriptions-clob.polymarket.com
Extension data is not sent to servers operated by PolyMama and is not sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers. Polymarket's own data processing is governed by its policies.
Storage & retention
Authentication credentials: the Extension uses L2 API credentials temporarily in memory, including for authenticated WebSocket subscriptions. It does not write them to persistent extension storage. Background credential caches are cleared when the related tab closes or the background restarts. Polymarket's own browser storage is managed separately by Polymarket.
Operational data: strategy configurations, engine state, ledgers, and logs are stored locally by the Extension. Interface preferences and recently used parameters may also be stored in Polymarket's site storage.
Uninstalling the Extension removes its extension storage, but does not necessarily remove data in Polymarket's site storage. Clear the relevant site data separately to remove those preferences. Local deletion does not delete orders, transactions, or records held by Polymarket.
Security
Requests and subscriptions use HTTPS or WSS. Host access is limited to the Polymarket domains required by the Extension's features, and private keys are not imported into the Extension.
No network or software system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your browser profile, device, and Polymarket account, and only use a trusted installation of the Extension.
Your controls
- Stop automated strategies when you no longer want them running. Review outstanding orders on Polymarket; closing a page or uninstalling the Extension does not cancel exchange orders.
- Disable or uninstall the Extension to stop it processing further data.
- Clear local data to remove saved configuration and records. Extension storage and Polymarket site storage are separate; clearing site data may also sign you out of Polymarket.
- Manage platform records using the privacy and account tools provided by Polymarket.
Age requirements
The Extension is not intended for anyone below the age required to use the relevant trading services in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
